A fortunate few spend entire lifetimes sailing the South Pacific in search of paradise, but if you only have a week, this iconic French Polynesian cruise is a shorter version of our Tahiti & the Tuamotu Islands itinerary for those who only have a week but really want to visit the Tuamotu Archipelago. Immerse yourself in the pristine surroundings of Fakarava Beach, a UNESCO Biosphere rich in colorful coral and tropical fish–and the perfect sanctuary for divers and snorkelers. Learn the art of grafting black pearls and shop for precious keepsakes at a family pearl farm, or seek out savory swordfish kebabs, fried fish, and other local foods next to Rangiroa’s sky-blue waters. Master drift snorkeling at scenic Tiputa Pass with an experienced guide. Roll out on a 4×4 exploration of Bora Bora beaches, weathered World War II guns, and dense tropical jungles, or spend hours in iconic azure lagoon waters swimming in the company of harmless, black-tipped sharks and curious stingrays prior to an overnight stay in Bora Bora.
